The baron, Lambert, and Magdeleine go on a trip to meet with Victor Hugo. De l’Aubépine is obsessed with meeting the Great Man. Obsessed and paranoid : are they being followed ?
The huis clos is barely broken and the Great French Writer in exile is not up to the baron’s expectations.
Victor Hugo is actually completely debunked from his pedestal, especially when he dangerously approaches the young and fresh Magdeleine.
As for the baron, he is still the same unworthy and extreme man presented to us before.
