Guillaume Staelens was born in 1973 in Seine-Saint-Denis. As a teenager he studied law at the Sorbonne. But his discovery of Rimbaud led him to abandon any career plans. A lover of literature and traveling, he set out for North and South America. He is a nomad in body and above all in mind, and has worked in many different areas. The Trail of an Apache Poet is his first novel.
